A very rare 1976 Montesa Cappra for sale which has been fully restored. It has matching engine and frame numbers and has only been ridden for fifteen minutes, so it is not yet run in. It runs on half gas, is exceptionally fast and requires about 45 minutes of further running in. These Spanish motorcycles have increased in value very steadily and at quite a rate over the last ten years, with plenty of headroom for further future growth. First introduced in 1967, the Cappra was unleashed to deal with the threat from Spanish rival motorcycle manufacturer Bultaco and they were highly competitive and fast. Spanish competition motorcycles are seriously coming into their own because so many people remember growing up with them through out the entire world. Restored by an expert

Restored by an expert who had ridden Montesa Cappras all of his life. The previous owner regularly competed at Farleigh Castle and was an expert in the field of Montesa restoration. He spent a fortune on parts and reconditioning and this is probably one of the few matching number Cappras in existence. These machines have to have the motors professionally shimmed or they will not work properly at all, this machine rides perfectly and is incredibly quick. The restoration is beautiful and authentic with original nuts and bolts used through out the machine. Even the rear shock absorbers are original along with the petrol tank and plastics through out the machine. The very rare times you see a Montesa Cappra for sale they will never have these beautiful old components present. These are great fun to own and ride and finding such a beautifully restored example is almost unheard of. This motorcycle is eligible for twin shock moto cross and many historic events.
