A stunning Bultaco Sherpa 350 for sale in unrestored condition, but ready to trial now. This is the 199A five speed model with matching engine and chassis numbers and what appears to be original factory paint. The motor and chassis are all in excellent condition and ready to trial. The bike has just had a new Mikuni carb fitted, which really makes the bike easier to start and tune and are no longer available.  New shock absorbers have been fitted, as the originals are long gone and are never of use today., and new tyres have been fitted as well These are really tough to find in this condition and are rapidly increasing in value. Twinshock trials motorcycles are increasing in value because so many people are enjoying riding them with their kids at weekends and there is almost no risk of injuring yourself on these older machines. Twinshock trials are also, surprisingly, a great way to keep fit without realising you’re exercising.

Bultaco Sherpa 350 for sale

When you see a Bultaco Sherpa 350 for sale they usually seems great, charming and ready to trial, but they never usually are. Even restored bikes look good, start, run and seem alright but if you try to ride them for any length of time they start causing very expensive problems to solve. Restoring a twinshock trials motorcycle to look good is not very expensive, but buying parts and resolving the motors is where they become costly. The original factory plastic fuel tank, with the remains of the screen printed decals, adds great value as these machines never still retain them. The aftermarket fuel tanks have a different, bobbly finish, they do not have the screen printed decals and vinyl decals won’t stick to the those tanks. This machine was owned by Paul Jayson and then his workshop manager. The reason it’s been sold, and is for sale now, is because none of us have any time at the weekends to do twinshock trials. When we have attended events, we have had so much fun and, once home after the trial, realised what a great way it is to lose weight. The Bultaco Sherpa was a mainstay of people in their forties to sixties who used to watch Kickstart and Junior Kickstart of television when we were growing up. This example offers a great opportunity to either enjoy twinshock trials or enjoy undertaking an easy restoration. This is a great Bultaco Sherpa 350 for sale which will certainly deliver joy and excitement at a really sensible price point.

Bultaco Sherpa 350

Finding such an original Bultaco Sherpa 350 with matching engine and chassis numbers is seriously challenging, but finding such an original example is extremely rare. The machine is ready to trial and can be delivered on mainland UK or we can handle exporting the motorcycle. There is no warranty offered on any competition machines or anything at this price point, but we know that the bike is sound and ready to trial. This iconic little twinshock trials bike is a bundle of joy and prices will not remain at this point much longer, as the cost of parts is so high. This is the perfect example to either enjoy twinshock trials on or to undertake a very simple, cost effective and inexpensive restoration.
